Pros and cons of Babbel - Learn Swedish app for iPhone and iPad

Babbel - Learn Swedish app good for

At the beginning it looks a bit boring, but once you get to use it, it flows nicely.
I have been using this app for a few months and not only does it help you pronounce the words, it gives you a firm understanding of the language. Ive been using the Swedish version and I am able to understand And write very basic Swedish so far. Im amazed on how easy and fun it has been to use. Previous apps Ive tried havent really done much but teach me odd words or catch phrases. But this one I totally understand the words I use and have quickly learned to build sentences on my own. I recommend this application to anyone who wants to learn an language. They give you what feels like an unlimited amount of courses you can do and its fun so you keep working at them.
I absolutly love it, i understand swedish so much better than before and i dont regret buying it at all (:
So far it seems like very good practice and Im well on my way :) hej då!
The audio/microphone lessons combined with the written grammar lessons make this program a simple way to start learning a new language.
I love this app & use it a lot, but I find the subscription options a bit too expensive.

Some bad moments

It was great at first but then it said you have to pay to get more levels to learn Swedish :((((
You only get one free lesson, and you need to pay for everything else. However this is a good app, with good methods, however expensive
Used this app a lot. After the update it is impossible to complete tasks with writing requirements - writing tab hides almost all questions. Work on IPAD 2
What they dont mention is that only 1% is actually for free. Most exercises are conditioned to a monthly fee.
This is a decent language app but the voice recognition does not work. I had a real live Swede try it and he couldnt make it work. Also too much emphasis on learning to write. I want to speak first not write Swedish. Overall though it is good. I do question some of the word choices they teach. I have Rosetta and Swedish Pod 101 and they seem to agree with each other and disagree with this app on some words and phrases.
You have to upgrade to learn anything other than "how are you"
